The late Bill Ridout of Washington portrayed Simon Kenton at the annual festival for many years. Pictured with him is Davey Cotten, also of Washington. Both buckskin outfits were made by Frances Ridout who portrayed Simon's second wife. Davey's wooden knife was carved by Bill.
